Kim Farmer is from Halifax and has been involved in the culture sector for over 15 years. She has worked at great institutions such as the IWK Foundation, the UBC Museum of Anthropology, the Monterey Museum of Art in Monterey California, the Craig Gallery at Alderney Landing and Studio 21 Fine Art Gallery. A big fan of Nocturne: Art at Night since its inception, Kim is excited to celebrate its 10th anniversary  in 2017.  In 2009, Kim created “Sam’s Reading Room,” a library for kids and their families located in the Ronald MacDonald Family Room at the IWK Health Centre for Women and Children.
