Kim is from Halifax and has been involved in the culture sector for over 15 years. She has worked at great institutions such as the IWK Foundation, the UBC Museum of Anthropology, the Monterey Museum of Art in Monterey California, the Craig Gallery at Alderney Landing, Studio 21 Fine Art Gallery, and has been a big supporter of Nocturne: Art at Night since its inception.

In 2009, Kim created “Sam’s Reading Room,” a library for kids and their families located in the Ronald MacDonald Family Room at the IWK Health Centre for Women and Children.
